Ennio Marchetto was born in Venice in 1960 and was inspired by the Disney cartoons he was watching in his childhood and the contemporary choreography of Pina Bausch, while he was growing up with the Carnival of Venice.
He has traveled from Singapore to Mexico and has given impressive performances in many parts of the world. In those he is based on music and costumes, masks and wigs made of paper he uses. His repertoire is based on more than one hundred known characters. Among them are Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Cher, Celine Dion, Boy George, Madonna, Gloria Gaynor, Maria Callas and even Mona Lisa.
He is transformed from the Queen of England to the unforgettable singer of Queen, Freddie Mercury, from the Pope to Fidel Castro. Eminem shares the stage with the Venus of Milos and Frank Sinatra is singing with Lady Gaga.
