The international course of Dimitri Vassilakis is expressed through selective recording presence, in collaboration with the British company Candid, with more recent issues “Across the Universe” and “Jazz for Bentley”.
In the first album, he plays saxophone and sings Beatles, Doors, Nina Simone, Chet Baker and others while he collaborates with personalities from the world of jazz. The second one is for the luxury cars Bentley.
His live performance has made a striking impression internationally. In Athens he appears with his New York Quartet, in which they participate the pianist Theo Hill and bassist Essiet Okon Essiet, stable collaborators of the Greek saxophonist. Michela Marino, an internationally recognized and distinctive personality of tap dancing participates.
