Petros Klampanis

Live streaming: Jazz at the Museum

Bassist and composer Petros Klambanis was voted "Best Jazz Artist" in Greece by jazzonline.gr in 2015, while his "Minor Dispute" album was among the best jazz albums of 2015 on the National Public Radio of the USA (NPR).

In 2017 he released his third personal album, titled "Chroma", which was awarded as the best live album of the year by IMA (Independent Music Awards).

He has recently released his fourth album titled "Irrationalities", which has already received very good reviews.

He has performed at notable music venues such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and Kennedy Center in Washington, and has appeared, among others, at the internationally acclaimed North Sea Jazz Festival (The Netherlands) and XJazz (Germany).

Today's concert was canceled, as all, at this period.

But B&E Goulandris Foundation contributing to keeping in touch with art and music from home, presents the concert live via its Facebook page.

"Putting the bass in a leading role, bassist and composer Petros Klambanis presents an atmospheric jazz program filmed in his room, featuring favorite jazz standards, songs from around the world, improvisations and his own compositions."

Live-streaming will launch on the Facebook event page at 20:30 facebook.com/events/182337259854655/
